Education as a professional electrical contractor doesn’t end after apprenticeship! In order to advance your career, we provide a number of training opportunities to help you strengthen every aspect of your trade, from additional certifications to business management training and more.

The State of Texas requires four hours of continuing education every year for all licensed electrical contractors in the state. At IEC Tyler, we offer four hours of continuing education courses covering topics like:

• Texas Electrical License Laws and Administrative Rules
• Electrical Safety 2020 NFPA 70E ®
• Code Changes in the 2020 NEC ®

You can complete the 4 hours of Continuing Education classes in one setting. 

Our continuing education courses for independent electrical contractors are approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for renewal of all Texas State Electrical Licenses.
